Despite its reputation as a holiday destination, Minorca remains one of the most unspoiled Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It is the second largest of the Balearic Islands. Mahon is the capital city as well as an important commercial and industrial centre of Minorca. It is located in the eastern part of the island and it has one of the deepest natural ports in the world. Minorca offers plenty of adventurous opportunities. The charming town of Ciutadella has many monuments dating from the 18th century and its harbour is a meeting place for yachts and pleasure craft.

Mahon, the capital of the Island is famous for its architecture, fairs, festivals and fiestas. An untouched beauty, the island combined with peaceful holiday resorts makes Minorca a highly pleasurable place for summer.
